Here's to you Jordan on your 24th birthday. No day ever goes by that you are not thought about, missed and still much loved. On a special day like this, we could only wish you could still be here with us. Your nephews and niece know about you and I wish all your plans to be part of their lives in person rather than in spirit had been possible - they are great kids with whom you would have shared so much - your sense of humour, your loyalty, your many interests and your experiences.
You can take pride in the fact that you are still changing lives on this earth. So many people have heard your story or seen it on MADD's multimedia presentation "Dead on Arrival" and know of the wonderful friends you had to leave behind on that awful night. Even in our new town, Tamworth, almost everyone knows you, talks about you and shares your wisdom with their families. Parents have told me their children as well as themselves have been moved to change their ways - most are more careful about the use of alcohol and vehicles. The laws have already been improved and we fight for more. Dad & I and your brothers would never want anyone else to go through the senseless heartache that never goes away from losing a loved member of your family to the thoughtless deeds of impaired drivers.
Your friends ensured some of your ashes were sprinkled from the Falls as you wanted at Moon River where they still journey each year (and I hope you are with them). Your tree in our yard thrives and new red leaves abound daily and this year a new garden will be planted there for you with a birdbath, a spreading coniferous, some bright red phlox and bricks from the old town hall encircling it. A place will be ready for you at your birthday dinner tonight; please join us. Love always to my guardian angel, Mom
Hey J,
So it's your birthday again, and I was scratching my head as to what to do for the King this year. Then it dawned on me. Waaay back when we were still at Royal Palm Drive, you and I got into a wicked fight, and the end result was the tossing of a very, very heavy box of ceramic dominoes into the air (yes, helpedby me of course) that ended up sailing through the air about 6 feet, and completely demolishing the famed Black Monarch's Castle that I believe you had just bought off of Steve. Yes, even back then Steve had to make a buck any way he could. LOL.
Anywho, that left the King without a castle. So I have remedied the situation, while at the same time absolving myself from any further ill will about the issue. Thus, I present, the fully rebuilt and UPGRADED Black Monarch's Castle, complete with all neccesary foot soldiers and mounted Knights required.
Long live the King!
